Our Native Nights Series features a presentation by landscape architect Shawn Maestretti

Description:
Please join Pasadena Water and Power, in partnership with the Arroyo Seco Foundation (ASF) for our 2024 Native Nights Series.
 
Throughout the series, noted speakers will cover topics such as healthy soil, biodiversity, and native plants. All events will be held at the Hahamongna Native Plant Nursery.

Leigh Adams – Eco-sensitive designer and educator
 
Our first session will focus on demystifying the complexity of soil. Learn all about your soil and practices to promote healthy soil for your landscape, including native gardens.

This event is free and open to the public. It is co-sponsored by Pasadena Water and Power. Light refreshments will be served.

Note: This event is outdoors, in our native plants garden. Please dress comfortably.

Wildland Urban Interface in Pasadena's Arroyo Seco. This illustrated presentation by the Arroyo Seco Foundation will demonstrate our trout monitoring program in the Arroyo Seco and will discuss Southern California's native population of rainbow and southern steelhead trout.
