Nursery Sales Yard Temporarily Closed for Summer

Regular Hours Resume on Saturday September 12, 2026
Open 9 am till 2 pm on Saturdays

We are open on Saturdays during the growing season,

September through May.

Why are we closed in the summer?

We have found that California Native Plants do not thrive
when installed during the extreme heat and
dry conditions of SoCal summers.

So we temporarily close our sales yard during the summer months.

Our volunteers are on site all summer, however,
caring for and propagating the native plants
that we will have ready to install in restoration projects in the fall.

Go to the Donate Page for details about
our 2026 Plants of the Arroyo Seco wall calendar.

What We Do

We propagate many native California plants
from cuttings
and from seed,
and most of our plants are available
for purchase.

Our volunteers work year-round caring for
our native plants, and are on site most days of the week.

The sales yard of our nursery is open to the public
only on Saturdays
from September through May.

Hahamongna Native Plant Nursery is dedicated to promoting pollinator and wildlife habitat growth one yard at a time. We grow and sell only California native plants, many of which are found and propagated right here in the Arroyo Seco watershed.
